WbizTool

A free Chrome extension for bulk messages in WhatsApp Web

The WbizTool extension for Google Chrome adds a panel to WhatsApp Web. Use its free tools – campaigns from a list or file, templates, and contact and group exports – without a WbizTool account, or connect it so your WbizTool messages go out from WhatsApp Web in your browser.

Campaigns, templates and exports are free: no account, no card.

How it works

  1. Add it to Chrome

Open the WbizTool extension in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.

  2. Open WhatsApp Web

Open web.whatsapp.com in the same browser, logged in with your number. Click the WbizTool icon in the left sidebar to open the panel.

  3. Add your contacts

Click New campaign and type or paste numbers, or upload a .csv or .xlsx file with column names in the first row (up to 50,000 rows).

  4. Write the message

Click a variable such as {{name}} or one of your file's columns to personalise it. Attach images, videos or documents up to 16 MB each.

  5. Start sending

Click Save and send, then Start sending, and keep WhatsApp Web open. Messages go out one by one with a random pause between them.

What you can do

  • Free campaigns

Campaigns you start in the panel are free and unlimited, don't count towards a plan's messages and need no WbizTool account.

  • Templates

Save messages you send often, with their variables, and start a new campaign from one.

  • Export contacts and groups

Export your WhatsApp contacts as Excel or CSV, and your groups or a group's members and admins, or start a campaign with them.

  • Your browser as a sending number

Connect it to a workspace and the API, campaigns, reminders, Google Sheets and Shopify can all send through WhatsApp Web in your browser.

  • Pause between messages

Set the shortest and longest pause in seconds (15 to 45 at first). Longer pauses look more natural to WhatsApp.

  • In your language

The panel follows WhatsApp Web's language and comes in 14 languages, right to left for Arabic and Hebrew.

Example messages

  • Hi Laura, our store reopens on Monday with new opening hours: 9 AM to 7 PM. See you soon!
  • Hi Mark, thanks for visiting us last week. Here is the price list you asked for.

Good to know

  • WhatsApp Web must stay open in Chrome while a campaign runs. Templates, campaigns and settings are saved in that browser.
  • Connecting it as a sending number needs an Owner or Editor, a confirmed email address, a paid-up plan and a free number slot – the extension's number counts like any other. If the same number is connected by QR code or pairing code, remove it first.
  • Messages WbizTool sends through the extension count like any other: one of the free trial's 50, or unlimited on a paid plan under fair use. Campaigns you start in the panel are free.
  • As a sending number, messages go out only while that computer is on and online with WhatsApp Web open; otherwise they wait and go out once it's back. One browser sends for one workspace at a time.
  • Send only to people who expect your messages, and keep pauses long – see Keep your numbers safe from bans on the Numbers page.

Questions

Is the extension free?
Yes. Its campaigns, templates and exports are free and unlimited and need no WbizTool account. Only messages that WbizTool sends through it, such as from the API or Google Sheets, count towards your WbizTool plan.
Can I send to a list from an Excel file?
Yes. Upload a .csv or .xlsx file (save old .xls files as .xlsx first) with up to 50,000 rows. The phone and name columns are found for you, and numbers without a country code get the one of the number logged in to WhatsApp Web.
Does my computer need to stay on?
Yes. The extension sends from WhatsApp Web in your browser, so keep Chrome open with WhatsApp Web in a tab while it sends.
How is it different from connecting a number by QR code?
An extension number sends from WhatsApp Web in your own Chrome, so it sends only while that browser is open. It appears on the Numbers page with the Browser extension badge and is picked like any other number. A number can't be connected both ways in one workspace: remove the QR-code one first.
How do I stop sending from the browser?
Click Disconnect on the number's card on the Numbers page, or Log out at the bottom of the panel. Your campaigns and templates stay saved in the browser.
